Spent the day at the Baltimore Coin Show with a friend just getting into collecting. Due to my military career (just retired Coast Guard after 30 years) this was the first show I have been to in 22 years! I thought going on a Friday it would not be crowded but it was packed! Didn't even make it to all the tables but did get a lot of items on my want list. Stopped at a table with "Bargain Boxes" for about an hour and found 12 coins I was looking for. Bought supplies, books and albums (one stop shopping!) Visited with Miss Charmy "The Penny Lady", and walked away with a very nice Large Cent. Wish I could of spent a lot more time, it almost takes two days to see everything. NGC, PCGS and others were there doing "free" grading and appraisals (don't know how official it is, but they were there). All in all, great first show in 22 years and even found a few folks over where I live that have a local coin club, so I got hooked up there also. Great day, miseralble weather..oh well. :loud:
Sounds like you had a great time. Having a good time and learning a few things are what shows are all about..
