Posted on another website. I just realized that Baldwins and St. James merged. What do you think of the merger? I have dealt with both auction houses. One with limited success.
I've only dealt with Baldwins. This is just a continuation of a trend, until Heritage is the only game in town.
Out of the two, I thought Baldwins was possibly the more conservative grader. Their recent shake up and now this. I wonder who has controlling interest.
Certainly possible, but auction houses have come and gone and been bought by each other for as long as auction houses have existed. And no doubt someday, somebody will buy Heritage.
