Hello all! I have been looking to purchase a bag of Buffalo nickels, but haven't had much luck. I have asked my local dealer to keep an eye out for me, but as of yet he has yet to locate any. I have also looked at several dealers on-line, but have also struck out. So, I was wondering if any of you forum members could point me in the right direction of a reputable dealer who can set me up. Also, what would be a fair price to pay for such a bag. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Tom
If I were you, I'd try some of the companies that have buy adds in the back of Coin World. They seem to deal in that kind of thing. Charlie
You might try Numismatic News classifieds also. If you cannot get the print, the classifieds are available on www.collect.com. Regarding fair price, you need to ask about dateless, partial date and full date. The price will vary greatly on that question. For Full Date (mostly 1930's) I have seen them go for around .80 to 1.20 per coin
