Went thru a bug big budgood beg, er a budgad bug bag, er a big beg budgud....Oh heck a big bag of Budgood's best cents.... Indians made the bag...found 57 fe g, 63 (2) , 64 ag, 65 g, 67 g, 71 g, 74 vg, 76 ag, 79 f, 86 TII vg, + other common date Ind's. 87 and 97 were solid XF, others were avg circ. Best Linc's were 13 s vg, 21 s vf, 24 d vg, 28 p that's at least 58, would like second opinion, might be 62-63 bn. Most interesting was one of the 09 vdb's had a shadow of an "s" on it......almost as if someone had once attached an "s" and it had fallen off. The field underneath the date had hints of luster as well, as if cleaned/prepared in that area only......appears to have been messed with, but sometime long ago. Has anyone else ever run into anything like this? Picture won't show it as you can only see the barest hint of a shadow when the coin is held at just the right angle. Much like looking at well-worn buff nick's.

AJ, Have you ever seen a vdb that looked like it once had an "s" attached. Maybe I was seeing things.....get a little buggy after 4374 coins......
No, not that I can remember. I do have a set of altered key dates pulled from bags. It would not suprise me. I have a 1931-D with an added D 1945-D shaved to a 15-D 1942-S shaved to 12-S 1928-S altered to 26-S etc etc You'll never know what you'll find in bags. Post a pic, that would help alot !!
