well I've only seen one side of it so far but pretty sure I have it ID'd as an 1863 F-10/298. I honestly couldn't believe the number of A&N reverses with minor differences that I had to flip though to find a match.... but then I grabbed the roll for $28 so I can't complain lol... Yeah I'm an optimistic idiot. I know buying wheat rolls is a losing proposition but I enjoy the hell out of going through every one of em so to me is money well spent. (hey a good roll can keep me occupied for over an hour at the usual $10ish a roll that's not bad in my book Besides, while I've wanted one for a long time most are 40-50 buck minimum in nicer condition like this one (well at least this side of this one lol)
double bad weasel lol... got this one for $12 hehe (I've been being outbid on these all week, so of course I win 2 in the same hour)
Someone beat me with a stick and stop me!!!! buyer backed out of one of the rolls I really wanted, seller sent me a 2nd chance offer... another 35 bucks in the hole lol... but then I did want to put together a 3 coin set.. Now i got that lol
The full sized Patriotic Civil War Token catalog is a better deal, but I don't think that's in print any more. I used to sell them for $20 when I was a dealer. The cover is red.
The fisherman got his hook into you, but ya know what? I think I would have swallowed it too. Love those rolls with mystery and intrigue.
2 have now arrived the 3rd and book with luck on monday the wheat roll was not bad, a real nice 1903 IHC that should grade xf-au and 33d that's at least au. + the army & navy token.. I did very well for 41 (the 83 ihc ender had a big ding on the reverse)
