So I don't want to beat this horse to death. . . .. But I read this article http://www.ngccoin.com/news/viewarticle.aspx?NewsletterNewsArticleID=76
And I got to this part
"The 1953-S is considered scarce and almost an impossibility among Franklin Half Dollars. In recent years dramatic prices have been seen on several other dates as well."

Well I have one in very good condition. My pics come out absolutely horrible, and the ones I posted the other day, people said it looked cleaned. You can definitely see the bell lines without magnification. So now I'm nervous. lol I only paid face for it (Came out of a coinstar). Did I find something nice???? What are your thoughts???. Thanks

Depends on how good the condition the coin is in. I have a 53 S in VF-35 condition, but its only worth about $10.00 according to the redbook. You aren't going to get a premium price unless you hit MS 64 or higher.

Just because you can see the lines doesn't mean that it would grade FBL. How about trying to get some more pic's of it...and try to get close-ups on the Bell Lines.
