When I came to this forum I had a rather narrow range of interests as far as which ancients I wanted to collect. I specifically wanted Judaean coins that were in circulation from 6 B.C. through 33 A.D. After hanging out here for a while, my geographical area of interest grew considerably. My period of interest has lengthened to include the Jewish Wars with Rome (reflected by my latest purchase below). My geographical interest has expanded considerably east to include Bactria and Parthia. I titled the thread Back on Track... to convey that this coin is closer to being within my original field of focus but not quite. The words for a While imply that I intend to include both Bactrian and Parthian coins in my future acquisitions.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

    That's a nice one, deacon.

It is great to have a plan and stick with it - but it's also nice to be flexible and pursue interesting things. Good luck!

Great example Deacon Ray! That's a coin I would love to add to my collection. My Judean coins are from later dates.

That is definitely an attractive example!! I'm always thinking of expanding into other areas but my budget always gets in the way (not to mention the 'lady of the house';)).

Thank you, Steve! It's not getting slabbed before I can explore all other alternate presentation avenues. You guys will be the first to see what I decide on. LOL!
