They should have struck the blasted thing in 'coin silver'. Commemorative clad half's make me sad.........
Same here. Clad makes them look like any other coin. Commemoratives are special and should look that way. In silver these would have made a great looking set.
That's why I picked up the Dollar from 2008 and didn't bother with the half dollar. Also, this design just didn't appeal to me as much as the design on the dollar.
