B&after...Philippvs I and Augustus..

    Philippus I, Viminacium sestertius, 22 gr, and Divus Augustus, under Tiberius...Philip was easy to clean, but Augustus was badly burnt, very difficult to clean, this is the best that could be done with this piece. Unfortunately,I don't have a photo before cleaning.

    Well, @galba68 I actually did something different this time. I looked the coins up before making a comment. I see the Philippus I, Viminacium sestertius was minted in Serbia. To me, that's special.
    The Divus Augustus, under Tiberius, while the rougher looking coin, again, to me, is the better find. No valid reason, it just piques my interest. Great finds, both of them. Thanks again for posting some of your successful detecting.
