    Just got home, rained out!
    AV Stater 5.73 g. 19mm. struck during Gallic Wars
    This coin was slabbed as CH. AU (from Steve Album Auction)
    Obv. Disjointed horse/crescent/pellets
    Rev. Plain bulge

    It's interesting to me that the anvil die on this coin was blank, and the striking die had the design. I can't recall seeing that on any other type. Nice provenance too, Steve Album. I like coins that were owned by people who wrote books about coins.
