An oldie/but goodie AV Dinara 30mm./7.81g. Boxlo Mint Hormizd I 270-300AD obv. King Standing Left/Wearing Lion-Head Crown/Swastia Between Feet rev. God Siva Facing/Bull Nandi Behind
That king had a pair of abs and muscles like a bodybuilder. Maybe it's just the armor and there are no muscles underneath, but he looks like he could beat up The Rock any day of the week.
Thanks everyone! Sixteen of Dr. Adams coins now have a "good home" in my collection. His awesome coll. was so outstanding it was auctioned off in four CNG auctions. He collected everything in gold/all periods of coin history.

Best thing about these coins....they are not pricey In Triton XX auction, I wanted to get a couple of the RR AR Denari/ they all went for well past $1000 range. But then, some Canadian Queen Victoria 50 cent pieces went for big $. 1872-H=110KUS! My coin cost 1/50th that crazy price.

Great! I bought one of the Adams coins, too, a Kidara dinar, that's much like the Kushano-Sasanians. It was by far my most expensive coin. The reverse is not damaged, but 'as struck', more 'barbaric'.
Thanks, John. I'm very much interested in coins of the Huns between India and Persia. The Kidarites were the first wave. They made mighty attractive coins.
