The wife and I went to a comic con/wresting/comedy event last night and before the show I did some browsing of the vendors and came across these. I found the Nolan Ryan on eBay the other say's dealer sample and I cant find much out about it. I'm not even sure who the players are. At $5 each I couldn't pass them up. I think that's pretty cool because it combines my 2 favorite hobbies, sadly it doesn't seem like it caught on.

I like the idea. Question for you. What's a 1958D LWC doing in the 1982 card? Comic con / wrestling/ comedy? Strange combo, no? biggrin.gif

Dunno, guess there weren't any 1982 coins around at the time lol. Wrestling, collectables and comedy together a strange combination? Nah more like a dream combo:happy: I got to meet one of my childhood heroes while there, Michael Winslow aka man of a 1000 voices. He played in Police academy, Space balls ECT.. I spent so much time trying to mimic him when I was young.

Here's the wife with him, unfortunately I wasn't able to be in the pic because they were turning down the lights for the show and we were rushed and the girl couldn't figure out my phone so I just went ahead and took it.
