It's just an opinion of mine, I could be wrong or right, but it gives the look as if it was artificially aged and it looks off. Doesn't look like silver.
There are some incredibly high quality fakes of this particular coin, this is not one of them. This coin is made from a decent, but still obvious, transfer die. Also, counterfeiters often add simulated wear to try to make a better fake. But for a coin like this, that is counterintuitive, as genuine examples of pieces like this are not expected to have circulated. It's also not as sharp as you would expect for a coin that was struck with the highest standard of quality available at the time. Sorry, but it's a modern fake.
Keep it as part of a reference library, best way to learn counterfeit detection is to have lots of them on hand.
Fake. has the wrong color. looks grainy like a casting. many of these are faked. If you can afford a real 1 buy it slabbed TPG.
