Ken Dorney has this coin for sale on V coins. Would it qualify as a 12 Caesar coin? 546E1895-1BCE-4077-9799-8CCC9FC38C86.jpeg 546E1895-1BCE-4077-9799-8CCC9FC38C86.jpeg

That would be up to you. Me, personally, no, I would prefer a lifetime issue, of Augustus. This coin doesn't qualify as that. It's like a Lincoln penny that issued today, yet Lincoln isn't alive.

Augustus coins are very common and affordable, especially in bronze.

That's a nice coin at a good price IMO. I'd say it counts, but like @Mat I would prefer a coin from Augustus's own lifetime.

Since the coins of Caligula are harder to find than those of Augustus just put it into your collection as a Caligula coin.
