Post em! I've been crazy busy with work this week, I've had time to pick up change but not open it so I'm way backed up lol. I've got 3 boxes of dimes and 2 boxes of nickels to open, then I'll post mine. So far I'm over 20 ounces for the month though!
This month was terrible: $550 Halves - SKUNK! (Except for 1 measly clad NIFC which got spent on a soda). $200 Dimes - Skunk $126 Nickels - 1 1944 P wartime $50 Quarters - Skunk 1 beat up Ike, which was spent with the NIFC mentioned above for the aforementioned soda. I had to explain to the kid behind the counter that both coins are in fact legal tender and they are worth what is written on the back. Yikes, I've been on a dry spell for a few months now. I need a big hit soon!
I don't really keep track of what I've found by the month but I did start keeping track of my dime finds in the month of August so the results I'm going to post for them qualifies. Dimes searched: 220 Rolls 1947D 1954 1954D 1954Sx2 1956D 1958D 1959D 1961D 1962Dx3 1963D 1964 1964Dx9 Foreign: 1973 Canadian dime 1979 Canadian dime 2003 Canadian dime 1994 50 Lire Italy 2010 50 Centavos Mexico Twenty-one of those silver dimes were found this week and 17 came from just three rolls.

Quarters: Wash x10 Dimes: Roosie x58, Merc x10 Nickels: War x24, Buffalo x3, 1978S and 1997S Proofs, and 2x 1939S Pennies: Wheat x86, 2000 WAM Halves: 90% x4, 40% x30, Franklin x10, Walking Liberty x10 (including a 1938D in VF30-35) and a 1976S clad proof Also picked up 503 Ikes this month, which had 4x 1976D Type 1. Also got a 1955 Netherlands 1G coin, which is .1505 ozt asw It's been an incredible month, and combined with last month it's been an incredible summer. Lots of nice pickups this month, including a CWR of halves that had 10 WLs, 8 BFs, a 90% and a 40%, one of the WLs was the 1938D. Also found a magician's half in a roll but I don't think it works lol. I managed to find yet another 1939S nickel a few days ago, which brings me up to 2 for the month and like 4 or 5 of those this year (really hope I can find a 38/39D this year!), as well as a minor clipped planchet nickel to add to my collection of minor errors. And as always, lots of foreign and tokens which I never really tally up for monthly results, although if people are interested they can check my weekly results posts in the main thread. Lots of enders this month too, including 2 Roosie enders, as well as 4x 40% enders (2 of which were from the same box). The 1976S clad proof half was an ender as well. I'm due for another ender post in the thread really soon! Total silver found this month was 21.56 ozt, my second best month after July. Last weekend I hit 100 ounces for the year, crazy that 60 of them are just from the past 2 months. I'm just hoping I can hit 150 ounces for the year now. Total searched this month was $18,504.50. On top of my CRH finds, one of the summer interns in the office who knew I liked coins randomly gave me an 1896 russian silver ruble coin, on their last day. Doing some googling this thing appears to be worth at least 50 bucks! This month was also the ANA show, which was a blast. I did get a few nice things there, like some barber halves, a 1/25oz gold gibraltar coin, and a mexican gold dos pesos all for just about spot, and some other random coin supplies, silver coins and album fillers. It's been a phenomenal month for me as far as coins are concerned
Here's my August review: Grand total searched - $15915.50 halves - $6792.50 40% - 12 90% - 3 (including '99S silver proof) clad proofs - 2 dimes - $9100 roosies - 32 mercs - 1 CDN - 1 Ikes - $22 SBA - $1 rejects: '63 roosie Overall, I slightly more than doubled the amt of halves searched and roughly $1100 more in dimes - only to see the same exact # of halves in July and 2 more dimes. I had a feeling August was down. Time to run my tally for the 6 month review!

All in all it's been a crazy adventure. I've learned so much and met some fun/interesting people along the way. I wish my Dad were here to share this with me, but I know he's watching over and happy to have indirectly led me into a hobby that I enjoy.
