I am on the stack bowers website ad there is a coin that I am planning on bidding on. It says pre bidding ends on 8/17/2011 and live and internet bidding begins in the 17th. But when does live bidding end then?
and whats the difference between pre bideding and interent bidding. If I win pre bidding what happens? can anyone explain this system to me

Prebidding is just that and usually made by someone that will not be available the day of the live auction. The pre bid will be up against live bidding and if someone bids over the pre bid amount the pre bidder will not win. If you will seriously want that item call stacks and set up a phone bid. They will call you a few moments before that item is auctioned and you can bid live over the phone. You have to set it up in advance though.

live bidding is just that. they put it on the block an tyhe bidding lasts as long as there is active bidding on, usually no more than a few minutes.
