    Hey Guys
I don't post alot of links---but this time I think I should because it might not only help you out, but tons of other people in the long run.

There is a collector I've heard about who puts together charity auctions---all of the money that the auctions brings in goes to Pancreatic Cancer Research---so far I think they have sent over $20k---and they are hoping to make it to the $25k mark this year.
I have never bid in these auctions before but have heard about them---this year I found it online and sent in some bids---I think its an auction worth taking a look at.
At this time they have around 70 some odd items for sale with prices ranging from $1-$1250---coins/books/free coin grading from PCGS and NGC---and more
You can find the auction here....
    http://charity.jkwd.com/items.html
It doesn't cost anything to get a bidder's number---and unlike some auctions there is no bidder's premium :D

I do not know the young man that is doing the auction so I can't say much about it in that way---I understand that he is to be trusted and that you get the items you bid on.
I hope that I can send him an email telling him about CoinTalk and telling him that he would be more than welcome to join us.

I hope I don't tic anyone off for posting this link......

He's been doing this for several years at least. I've seen his postings in another forum and he gets a lot of approving comments. :thumb:

I just wish he'd get some stuff in my area of collecting. :(

Poor subject with me. Cancer research, cancer fighting organizations, cancer help stuff is a real pain, and I mean pain, to me. In 2003 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. During my stay in many hospitals and at home recovering I contacted every Cancer Organization I ever heard of for Help, Suggestions, Advise, Information or anything, etc. All I ever recieved was requests for more money. Not even a sorry to hear, just request for more money. I kept up sending such requests to all such charital organizations until recently and still all I ever received was requests for more money.

Just a note that this auction goes off this week----I think people like to out bid me for some reason....but that is ok because I'm glad to see it go higher!

The Krause book was donated by me. I don't bring this up to toot my own horn, but rather to tell you that if a CoinTalk member wins the book and sends me a IM to that effect, I will include a nice circulated braided hair large cent as a bonus. It is lot #058: 18th Century (1701-1800) Standard Catalog of World Coins 3rd Ed. by Krause.

In the event a CoinTalk member does not win this item, the first person to IM me their winning lot number from any of the auctions will get the large cent.

Thank you for supporting this great cause....Mike
