AU? Franklin Half Found Junk Silver Picking

    Nice find could it be FBL?it looks mint state most franklins are weak strikes and hard to grade.

    By weak strike, is that why the Obverse looks a little "washed out?"

    The glare is in all the wrong places for a grade but that's a honey of a find for a half-buck!

    Nice find! That looks better than some of the Franklin halves I have that were priced for AU-55 and up!

    +1 i don't see any evidence of cleaning just because it was purchased from a junk silver lot doesn't mean it has problems.

    It's got a lot of luster and cartwheel in hand.

    I can see where the devices don't look frosty, and more like the fields. Is that what indicates cleaning?
