Attribution is Key for verifying any coin of interest...

    Interesting Bay offering- seller states "Nicely done but this variety does not exist".

    Good for him, but still a bad listing...

    Starting with attribution, the reverse is from an 1804 C-6 with a couple of sure attribution points circled.

    Had he put "fantasy" or the less generous "fake" in the title, there may have been less bids.... "Burying the lead", I think they call it.

    But then again, all the coin collectors collecting fakes would be bidding, so hard to say, maybe there would be MORE bids. :p
