Attribution Help Please

    I think we should hold the identity hostage until we get another episode of The Coin Show...

    Just kidding Mike - love the show and sad it hasn't been on for a while. I'm afraid I can't help with attributing the coin though.

    The question is how an obvious fake gets lost and found metal detecting. There seems to be a cottage industry in dirtying up 'bad' coins in hopes of making them 'better'.

    And both have that mushy fake look about them.
    Curious, is there a double horse coin obv. & rev.? I can't recall seeing one.
