I have had this coin a while and all attempts to identify it have failed, and I feel that it should be so easy!

AE 24mm 8.25g - Can anyone give me a steer in the right direction please. I feel as though I have looked at every page on wildwinds. Appears to have the letters BN upper right on reverse.

I saw that coin and dismissed it because mine has no P on the obverse and whatever the blob is above the helmet. Mine might have letters below the horse, but they are too feint to read. I was looking for the BN to try and make an identification.

I will try and clean it up a little, although I don't hold out much hope.

Athena, Apollo or Eros. That's just a guess. The horse could be Pegasus?

Thanks Chris, another Hispanorum. Still nothing with my BN. I am not having much luck revealing the letters under the horse.
