How much would you buy a sight-unseen (still in OGP but may have scratches on the surface or missing box or COA) set from a random year of the 90% issues? I am thinking of doing this as I want to start collecting these. And I think this may be the cheapest way to acquire them.
If you are going to break them out and put them into an album, then the just buy the container when ever possible. If you are going to collect them in the container, then Box/COA are important when it comes time for resale. Me personally, I would put them into an album and eventually work a set around them.
It's all relative. You won't get full package price, but you didn't pay that either. The more important concern would be how easy they are to sell
