Ataturk Medal?

    All I can read is 27 May 1960, as well as On Lira. That would suggest it might be a coin. Still I couldn't find a match on Krause. It weighs 15.5 g. all together. Please try to post more info, if you can. Ataturk 001.jpg Atatur R 001.jpg

    Yep, a 10 lira coin, except that somebody turned it into a pendant. :) The date refers to a military coup in Turkey which the coin commemorates ...
