I believe most of this sellers coins are Artificially Toned! http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZduffydaddy1
I agree. Some may be NT but most are AT. I found it interesting that this seller currently has 219 items up for auction, the vast majority of which are (artificially) toned coins BUT he has only sold 4 coins in the last 90 days and only two of them were toned coins. According to this seller's info he is located near Denver. I should look him up sometime and tour his coin toning facility.
Wow - that is like looking at Anaconda's coins. Since most of these coins are graded by PCGS, surely everyone understands it is NT and not AT. Please note the smiley face. I find some of them very interesting, but would not pay the premium they expect to get - and some of them are just ugly in my opinion.
some of the toning, may be natural and is quite nice, some may be artificial and slabbed anyway, but no way hes getting $800 for that 1957 dime.
"Monster toning" is a perfect term lol because it describes it so well... just like a monster, any coin with "monster toning" means a coin that is scary and/or ugly, and you should probably run away from.
This seller (he goes by Pharmer on the PCGS forums) has a number of what appear to be questionable coins, and a number of what appear to be NT coins. Regardless, his asking prices seem to me to be ridiculous given the quality coins in his inventory. In my opinion, he is doing nothing but hoping to hook a sucker with those auctions....Mike
Or Braggin......if a sucker comes along, thats fine too My boss does it to tease his car buddies with Shelby Mustangs. It costs 10 cents a month to keep store inventory
