If you have a second could you give an opinion on these 2 coins a club friend of mine wishes to send to PCGS. My opinion was rather different than the one the dealer that sold them to him had. I appreciate it as maybe I am incorrect, especially on the half cent which I don't actively collect. Thanks

G6 on the ihc, I cannot see any of the letters in libertys headband, according to my coin world grading guide three letters must be present for a vg8

my making the grade book does not have that half cent in it, from the red book I would venture that is a vg example.

I think the 09-s indian would make at least an F-15, perhaps VF-20. The services seem to be nice to this type, and though this one has some obverse weakness, I think it has enough detail to make either of those grades.

I'd say VG-10 on the half cent.

    Nifty.

The half cent is a VG-8 -- love to see those.

The Indiant cent is also a VG-8, and it might even be a genuine coin. I mean, the mintmark looks iffy, but you have to take into account that I'm thousands of miles away from the pic...

    All IMO:

I think the HC will bag. I'd guess corrosion.

I think the IHC will grade VF 20. 25 wouldn't surprise me either, as the TPGs tend to overgrade these key dates.

    Please keep us posted....Mike
