Asian Coin for Identification

    Hello,

    Just looking to find out what exactly this coin is as I do not read chinese/japanese. It seems to be brass and is about the size of a nickel.

    Here is the coin:

    This is a "Showa 24" (1949) 5 Yen coin.

    Kinda common, and a little bit lot more than $12.50 in MS-63 or higher, if you DO find one in that grade somewhere.
