    I have a quick question.

other than submitting the silver eagles for grading is there any other way to tell what they are.

I received them in a package deal when i purchased some gold coins.

i have 8 of them from the earlier dates through the 90's. they are all in MS condition for sure the difference is what grade.

the reason i ask is that PCGS has some of them at MS 70 set at 4K.

I do not know if this is true but i can't see a fault on any of them and am not sure if it is worth getting them slabbed over.

there is a coin collection going on in FL this weekend i wonder if it would be worth it to take them over there and see if they can grade them.

This is just my opinion, so please take it with a grain of salt.. There is no difference between 69 & 70. The best of the best can't tell the difference, if they could tell the difference then why so many disputes over grading companies? Example; I recently read if you send it to PCGS it'll grade 64,
but if you send it to NGC it'll grade 65. So, lets be real, if they can't get it right on a 64 or 65 do you really think they'll agree on a 69 or 70.

All silver eagles are MS-65 or above if not damaged - your not going to have a PCGS

All silver eagles are MS-65 or above if not damaged - your not going to have a PCGS MS-70 in that group in all reality.
Let another experienced dealer/collector looking at them and he will most likely be able to show you why they will not 70. There is no reason to have them slabbed IMO.
