Article series on Proof Reverse Washington Quarters available online

This month's gray sheet had part II of a series written by Dr. Richard Appel on the Proof Reverse Washington Quarters of 1956-1964.

Being a WQ enthusiast who is working on a WQ website for all enthusiasts, and knowing that a lot of folks don't get the gray sheet, I contacted Dr. Appel and received his permission to publish them on my webstie washingtonquarterresource.com.

Yesterday I received a hard copy of Part I from Dr. Appel. After some scanning and OCRing, both parts are now available to Washington Quarter enthusiasts everywhere

I found the article quite informative and his theory on how these came to be pretty rock solid. Its a great article. Enjoy.
