    That may be discussed. The Greeks' "orichalkos" meaning "mountain copper", it was in their mind some kind of raw ore, not at all an alloy. Plato's Atlantis is supposed to be Egyptian knowledge, ancient history taught by Egyptian priests (that is to say professors). I am convinced that, from an ancient Egyptian point of view, through texts and traditions dating back to the late New Kingdom, a huge island with mountains producing a much sought after metal could be the Iberic Peninsula, today's Spain.
