My brother underwent some major repair and renovations in his house and set a large number of unslabbed Morgans to hang onto for safety. Now my family...My sister is retired USAF and my brother and dad are both retired USN, and I am the black sheep as a member of the Army. My brother wants to bet a Morgan of his against a Morgan of mine of compareable value on the upcoming ARMY/NAVY football game. Anone want to vouch that a 1921 Morgan in EF Condition is worth as much as a 1899 O in MS Condition? I cant wait to sort through both of our Morgans to find out who the victims will be.
My Opinion. Ummm, The 1921 has 400% higher mintage and in a higher grade. I would say the 99-O is a far better coin.

Nope---they aren't worth the same---I think 2 1921 Morgan dollars might be alittle better but you might have to add 3! Speedy
