not sure if this area is for varieties or just errors.
I have a strong interest in re engraved Jefferson nickel varieties. I have collected all the cherry pickers listed varieties and several unlisted varieties.
For those who don't already know there are significant enhancements to the ribbon area on some old proof nickels 1938-41,50-55.
If anyone shares this interest or would like to see detailed photos let me know. Here is my newest pr67 FS 402 re engraved variety IMG_2653.JPG

The debate over what constitutes a variety and what constitutes an error will probably never be answered in my lifetime. The same goes for whichever forum would be appropriate in which to post your varieties. Some people might use this forum, while others may choose to use the "US Coins" or "Coin Chat" forum.

Some varieties are errors. Not all errors are varieties.
