This is my first post. I have many many coins that I know nothing of. Here are three, two of which had an info card with them, one that did not. Any idea what these are worth or if they might be fake? I am new to this, inherited a large collection. I appreciate any help. Thanks.
http://cgi.ebay.com/VF-XF-TRAJAN-DE...tem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a067557fb That link is to a Trajan Denarius. The reverse is important. show denomination. But you should be able to find the others on eBay also,
At a glance, they look real. Not exactly high grade, but then nice first century stuff can get expensive.
ancient/world section of CoinTalk Hello amm9914, Welcome to the CT forum. The three coins which you have posted are ancient coins. The members in the CT ancient/world coin section will probably be able to help you more with identification & value. I suggest that you post one or two pieces in the ancient/world section and get to know a couple of those ancient coin enthusiasts. They can provide advise on your collection. Very best regards, collect89 P.S. Try to post one coin per photo & Please crop the photo before posting it so everyone can see the coin better.
