Are these wide rims? SBA

    image.jpg Got these three coins in change over the weekend. Are the top two the wide rim variety?
    This is just a quick phone pic, if better images are needed to determine I will take some.

    I don't think so. The date is still "far" away from the rim on all the coins. Look at the "1" and you can tell. It needs to be much closer.

    Nope, the are all narrow rim/far date coins. They illustrate why I prefer to call the varieties near and far dates, because the width of the rim is NOT a good way to identify them. On the Near date/wide rim the distance from the bottom of the 1 to the rim is LESS than the width of the upright of the 1.
