here are a couple of junkers i picked up for cheap just to ID, am i correct? this one i thought was going to be a sicily apollo/eagle... sorry for the pic, this coin didn't inspire much effort. the size and weight are in the ball bark, about 23 mm and 8 ish g. but the style seems odd...and the eagle small. here's a nice one i own i just posted in another thread... imitative? this coin i'm pretty sure i've figured out... Marcus Aurelius. Sestertius. 145 AD. O AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F, bare head right R: TR POT COS II S-C, Minerva standing right, holding spear and resting hand on shield. RIC 1248 (Ant. Pius); Cohen 596; Sear 4811. Rome mint. 32 mm, 21.7 g. here's the wildwinds version...
I think ya did well. Much better than I would have I'm sure. The Marcus Aurelius I "may" have gotten. The other no way.
