are these state quarters missing a layer?

    bryantallard show me the money....so i can look through it

    I saw a picture on ebay like these. I have 5 in all this color that I have set aside because I was told to do so about anything odd. is the north Carolina struck through grease? ty in advance

    no they are not missing the clad layer , they are just toned to this color . I have some that are toned to a really deep copper color from exposure to the air.
