Are these errors?

Found these in my coin bucket and was interested to see what you guys think.

To me they both look like road rash coins

 

Both look seriously circulated with a lot of die deterioration, which is not an error. Just dies used past their life span to save the Mint money. Sorry.

 

The nickel looks damaged. I am not sure about the other coin.

 

Could you provide pics of the obverse side of each coin and a pic of the edge of the quarter. Also try compairing the diameter of each coin to other normal coins of the same denomination. Are these coins larger or smaller than normal
