Are there sought after Soviet Union coins?

I have found a small wooden box containing a lot of "CCCP" marked coins, from various decades. Is there any specific coin from the CCCP/USSR that I should look out for?

Far too ranging a question, kind of like "I have some American coins, which are worth something?" Perhaps someone will know, but you would be better off posting some pictures. BTW welcome to CoinTalk

Thanks. I apologize for being vague, but I was assuming that these aren't as popular as American coins, and that there would be a smaller variety. Looks like I can't edit the original post... I might have to make a new one when I find some more information to add.

I certainly don’t know everything about them (though I have books that do) but I believe most coins with CCCP are too modern to have any value. There are a few good ones so post pictures and we can help you more.

If any of them are silver they may be of value, but the USSR made very few of them. Any from before 1930 may be of value if they are in uncirculated condition, but beyond that I would not get excited.

There are a few good dates scattered about, mainly earlier on in the country's history. Post what you have and we'll help you out.
