Seated coins have always been a popular series for type coin collectors and usually come in higher grades and the populations minted of the coins are high enough for them to still be around today. To answer your question of if they're gaining popularity, I believe they will always hover around the mid line of popular coins. They have always seen high collector demand and usually get bought up quickly by collectors. In conclusion I do believe these coins are making a small rise in popularity, but I dont think they will ever become as popular as say the Barber series. I still love the coins though.
The Barbers are beautiful, but so are the seated examples; for instance, seated quarters are really attractive I think.
