Are older larger bills being pulled out of Vaults?

Today was payday, and as I was getting cash from the ATM to pay bills, the ATM spat out the older $50 bills, mostly from 1993 (I also got a lone 1990). $600 worth. And Crisp Uncirculated.

Now IIRC, one of them "educational shows" mentioned that a vast amount of US Currency is held overseas. Since the economy is in the crapper and people are freaking out, can one surmise that older notes held "in reserve" are now coming to light?

While this is a nice find to say the least, it would be almost impossible to say where the notes orignated from. They could have been held in any number of vaults over the yeras and finally made it out. I would keep them if you can.

600 is way to much for me to keep for older notes in that denom. Unless they were stars, and then i 'might' only keep 1, i would let them go.

its an awsome find though to see them spitting out the ATM lol i bet you almost had a cow seeing the notes come out lol

If like you said the notes are crisp uncirculated I would hang on to them. The older notes are getting scares.
