I guess it depends on what you like to collect. Just be aware that most minor clashes are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

For example, I found 228 specimens of a clashed "Y" when I was searching a $50 Mint bag of 1980 Lincoln cents. They all came from the same die because there are two small die scratches on the reverse of every coin.

Do I think they are worth much? No! I often give specimens away to YN's.

Worth saving? Yes. Worth paying extra for? Not really. I'm not really into lincolns, but i like to get morgans with clashes, they're not worth any more but they are interesting.

I wouldn't go out of my way to buy them but if I find them, I keep them. IMO they are all interesting.

To me, I'd save it because its cool! Ive never found a clash....but only recently added to my brains list to "look for".

Obviosly the Lincolns are the most common to find with die clash marks and as said are cool but common mostly. How about other denominations like 5, 10, 25, and 50 cents? I find very few of them with clear enough marks to easily notice...any theories as why that is? Theyre all made in massive quantities...

@Heavymetal- Question on your dime. Below the ear, is that part of the same event? if so. How?

Yes this is part of the clash. Atypical clash. Very strong strike without a planchet

Depends on the severity of the clashes if people will buy them or not. But I keep them!

Well, I'm not the King...yet. Not even a Prince or Duke.

As for selling, I only sell something if I get a nicer example, and sometimes I still don't. But I am quite picky about what I buy. :)
