Are Dateless Shield Nickels worth anything?

    Can somebody give me a ballpark figure of what a Dateless Shield Nickel is worth? $0.05?

    I always put dateless nickels back into circulation whenever I get the as part of a collection. Hopefully a roll searcher will find rhem or it may get some kid interested in collecting.

    Or you could always slap a little "nic-a-date" on the coin and see if anything pops up...

    I would say a buck or 2. But yeah try Nic-A-Date becuase it could be a key date so while is damaged, its still going to be worth more than just a few bucks.
