Are both of these machine doubling? 1999 and 1982 D penny

    So for the 1999 penny the date is the question area and same goes for the 1982D copper Penny (the 1 and 2 in the date) and the mint mark is just from damage right there isn’t an S inside the D right it’s just my mind playing tricks on me…

    Danny, when you see the L of LIBERTY so close to the inner rim of the cent, it is a sign the coin was struck by an overused ( spread die ) that slowly flattens out from the original position and look like a doubling. Very common on high number of usage.
