I went through some bills this week and set these aside wondering what you guys think. None of them are in perfect shape. The top one is almost perfect, but it has a tiny creased corner in the lower right. The middle one I was wondering would this be considered a repeater since it repeats "829". The bottom one has that big crease, but I've heard that since 50's aren't really as circulated that finding unique ones in the collector market isn't as common as in other denominations. I can afford to hold on to these for a while, but I don't really want to keep any of them more than 6 months. Just wondering if any of them has any premium at all before I turn them loose again. Thanks!
The top $100 is a keeper from a short run of 320k...the $50 is common id spend it and the other $100 is nothing fancy a spender.
Thanks for the heads up guys! Last week I got a perfect CU $100 2006 star the number wasn't anything special or anything like that with no big story beyond what you see is what you get. Posted it up on ebay and someone bought it for $140 + shipping. I can't believe how crazy some people on Ebay are about these things. I can think of so many other bills I'd rather have for the same price, or several for that price.
Emoticon, have to agree with bonniview and tbud on this one. The top $100 is the only keeper. With that said, I would take the other $150 and spend it on a note that you'd rather have for the same price. Large-size notes are a good place to start since the vignettes on them are dazzling at times.
