Dealers how is this show? promoted well? numis crowd, bullion crowd ,etc? collectors how is this show? Good parking, free entrance, varied & good material, etc
Don't think I've been to that one before... seems interesting though as it's right between the L.A. ANA show and the next Long Beach show... then again, not exactly sure that helps the show either? Won't be able to make it this year though since the Cubbies will be playing down the street at Dodger Stadium
I have been setting up there for several years now. It's always been a decent show, maybe 50 or so dealers - very similar to and most of the same dealers as a Buena Park show, if you've been to one of those. Sometimes, in my experience, club show members who attend shows that are run by their coin clubs don't seem to like to spend much, or seem to have less to spend, as say general collectors who attend the larger shows. Or they only want to buy at wholesale prices, which makes it hard for us dealers who are more on the retail side. And I don't know about how much bullion sales there is at this show. Here are some details for the show: AUG 22–23, Arcadia, Golden State Coin Show (GSCS), Masonic Center, 50 W. Duarte Rd. (CSNA & NASC), "Coins for Kids" table, Free parking! Gary Beedon (714) 963-6138 p.s. it's the weekend before the new PCGS Las Vegas show - Jack, are you going to the PCGS show? I'm already signed up (to buy, not sell), got my plane tickets and hotel reservations. Hope you can make it!
