The California State Numismatic Association (CSNA) & Numismatic Association of Southern California (NASC) Golden State Coin Show is August 28-29, 2010 at the Arcadia Masonic Center, 50 W. Duarte Rd., Arcadia, CA which is just South of the Santa Anita Race Track. Pretty sure it opens up at 10 a.m. both days and I know there's a pretty good gold coin raffle there that you may want to get in on. I think it's one of the better local shows and I'd guess there is around 50 dealer tables. The show also has some collector's exhibits to check out. Should be fun. Any other forum members going to attend? I'm going Saturday for sure. Also, for those who haven't seen it before, the CSNA & NASC issue a great quarterly publication, The California Numismatist which is available for FREE as a .pdf download (back issues too) at the following website: http://www.calnumismatist.com/publication.htm
Wish I had known about this a week sooner as I have the 29th off work but have since made plans. Maybe next time. Guy
I was planning on stopping in. Probably sometime Saturday. They usually have at least two shows a year at this location and since it is about 3 minutes from my house I always try to make it. illini420 is right it is a nice location and usually a very nice mixture or coins an papermoney.
