Once again, I've been lucky to catch a coin of the Decapolis. It's from Dium -Syria and shows war-god Hadad of the Aramaeans. Struck under Emperor Geta, it weighs 7.28 g.
The coin is dark and believed to have been issued in 208 AD. I couldn't wait till daylight to shoot this coin with my IPhone. I just did it tonight in our local time. It's rated rare among all the other similar coins of the same type and mint. Rosenberg 7. Spij 8.

Congrats, a nice find! Interesting coin - I have not seen one before, but your post prompted me to look it up: SNG ANS 1281 It also prompts some exploration of geography and state boundaries which I am curious to have a better mental map of as names like Decapolis, Arabia Petraea, Syria, Arabia, etc all blur for me in territory and time.

Syria, Dium (believed to be a neighbor of Pella), Geta Æ AD 207-208
Obv: ΠCEΠ ΓETA C, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right
Rev: Haddad standing facing, holding eagle-tipped scepter and Nike; recumbent bull to either side, WN upwards on right, OC (date) downwards on left, ΔEIHN in exergue
