    Hello,

I was hoping to identify this gold coin's origin. It looks Arabic but can it be Seljuk, or of Egyptian/North African origin? What's the best way to translate the inscription? Help much appreciated. Thank you

    Welcome!

Might be something from around ~1000 AD, Ghaznavid. Try searching on www.coinindia.com

(I don't know much about Islamic coins though)

Slightly weak in centres, otherwise almost extremely fine and rare of this weight.

I can see similar traits. Maybe late Abbasid period? Thanks again
