    Stuck on this one.
Silver 20.1 grams, a tad larger than a Morgan but slimmer.

If you can read Arabic numerals (they are given in the SCWC if you cannot) then it is easy to read 1963. You can then go to Numista and just use their search function and enter 1963. It will give over 40 pages of coins, but with patience you can go through them and find the coin you are looking for. I admit it is tedious but it has helped me many times when trying to identify a coin with Arabic text.

Yes, this is a gorgeous coin from now war-torn Yemen. I have almost purchased it myself a few times. And yes, the side without the dates is shown upside-down. Interestingly, this coin seems to show both the Hijri (lunar) and Gregorian (solar) years.

The first date, ١٣٨٢, or 1382 corresponds to the second date, ١٩٦٣, which reads 1963, depending upon which part of the year you try to convert. I typically only see the Hijri date on Islamic coins, but I have no idea if that's common or not.

Sources for learning the Arabic numerals, which the numerals used in the west derive from, are easy to find on the web. Confusingly, the numbers in English are also called "Arabic Numerals" because they came from Arabic.

I’m a big fan of this type. You can find some really nice examples for a reasonable amount.
