Ok, I am having no luck at all figuring this one out.
It appears to be brass, about quarter size, and is worth 100 somethings.
    Date markings are 1983-1403.

I have three coins from this country. Different denominations, all modern.
One of them is bagged, the smallest denomination, dated 1996, and appears BU.

    Thoughts?

That's a brass 100 millim from Tunisia. Since 1960, 1000 millim have equaled 1 Dinar. Collector value of a coin depends on date, mint mark (if any), number minted and condition of a coin, including amount of wear, any dents, scratches or cleaning. This coin may be worth about $1 and exchange value is equal to about 7.3 U.S. cents. You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.

I have that book, yet failed to find the coin after some hours of study.

Thanks! Now I can't wait to get home and look it up!

I apreciate the help. Hope I can return the favor some day.

    Regards,
