On ebay they list their products at the credit card rate with no shipping. On their website they list a cash and a credit card rate and both rates have a $9.95 shipping. What is up with that?
They have to pay ebay something for the sale AND get no shipping while on their own site they keep everything and shipping. Am I missing something? Is there any benefit from ordering on their site? Just seems odd.

Are the prices the same across both sites?

yes. I check 3 items on their website and the same 3 items on their ebay store. The credit card price listed on their site matched the ebay store. I guess if you want the cash price then their site is better but you have to may shipping. Maybe on a large purchase over $1000 the cash price and shipping is better than credit card and no shipping.

That is the business model they adopted. The amount of exposure on eBay coupled with the large number of small orders justifies their presence. However, smarter investors purchase direct in bulk from their site. And even smarter investors purchase from even cheaper sources...

I agree. I have never purchased from them because I can always find a lower price and better shipping. I wanted to buy some Gold Sovereign coins. Not a lot of sites out there show new sovereign. I was looking at the 2012 version where the design changed for a year. (sorry I know this is a US coin forumn)
